As health concerns run rampant, people have become increasingly aware of the products they use that can either help or hinder their health. Health is exceptionally important to us at Personal Touch Dry Carpet Care as we use a dry organic compound to clean carpets with. There are other products we would like to draw your attention to for alternatives. Products such as detergents, shampoos, deodorants, toothpaste, and cleaning chemicals are all brought into question.
Here is a list of organic products that I have personally found helpful.
- Bronner’s soap- this can be used to wash anything from your hair to your clothes. Read the label to see how all the different ways you can use it.
- Sappo Hill Soapworks Natural Oatmeal Glycerine Cream soap – wonderful to use if you have itchy, dry skin
- Baking powder and white vinegar- never underestimate the power of these two. They not only make a good all-purpose cleaner but they are safe to use
Pour ¼ – ½ a cup of white vinegar in a spray bottle and add 2 tablespoons of baking soda. Sprinkle water in and shake it up.
- White vinegar and water can also be used to
Make sure you find a deodorant without aluminum like Tom’s. Or you can make your own by using six tablespoons of coconut oil, ¼ cup of baking soda, and ¼ cup of arrowroot or organic cornstarch. You can put it in an empty deodorant container or you in an empty container with a lid. Store at room temperature or else contents will melt.
The above cleaners and soaps have dual purposes. Feel free to experiment, do more research, and try new products.
